I am excited and honored to work at Lincoln Elementary. I have been associated with Lincoln for over twenty years. I began teaching at Lincoln as a fifth grade teacher in 1991 and continued until Cottonwood Intermediate was opened in 2001. I taught at Cottonwood for two years before returning to Lincoln to teach first grade. I taught first grade for five years. I went to McKinley Elementary for one year as the principal and then came back to Lincoln as the principal in the fall of 2009.
I was born and raised in Texas. I began school in Childress, Texas. My family then moved to Amarillo, Texas before moving and settling in the Texas panhandle. I attended the Gruver Schools, graduating GHS in 1980. I then attended and graduated from Panhandle State University in Goodwell, Oklahoma with a BS in Elementary Education. After teaching for a number of years, I earned my Masters in Administration from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma.
I am married to Mike, who teaches at WMS and coaches at LHS. We have two married sons and three wonderful grandchildren. I also have one dog.
I enjoy spending time with my family, playing with the grandchildren, reading Christian fiction, and watching sports.
